ONE STOREY EXTENSION
Our client wanted their small kitchen and dining room turned into an open plan kitchen area with a single storey extension with a bedroom and bathroom. As their home was built in the 1900s it did not meet modern building or insulations standards, so we faced a challenge from the outset. On removing External & Internal Walls we found a number of issues which required additional and unplanned works. Firstly, we had to replace existing timber lintels with Robeslee 6” concrete lintels. We also had to replace the existing centre column of the property as the existing construct was sat on a single brick. In addition, following on from lath & plaster removal the existing kitchen joists were rotten so these were also replaced also. After overcoming these obstacles, the new open plan kitchen was fitted, and a new bathroom and bedroom were fitted above. Our dedicated team did an excellent job on this project and pleased to say our clients love their new extension!
DOWNSTAIRS RENOVATION
Our client tasked us with opening up a non-functioning storeroom and sitting area into an open plan modern kitchen. We fitted two steal beams, rewired and re-plumbed and fitted a new, modern kitchen in the newly designed space. We tiled the floor and fitted a new energy efficient Air Source Heating System. We turned the downstairs from small, boxed off spaces into an open and light space and our clients were overjoyed with the end result.
REFIT WITH ACCESSIBILITY
Our client needed their home to become wheelchair accessible. We needed to refit the 1970s side extension and turn it into a usable office and remove existing wood paneling and plaster throughout the home and fit 10x led dimmer spotlights for maximum light. We removed the 1970s brown bath suite on the first floor and created a wet-room-en-suite with disabled access and underfloor heating. It was great to work on this project and see it all come together at the end, creating a home our clients could fully utilise and move around freely in.
FULL INTERNAL REFIT
Our client was looking for a number of their ground floor rooms to be renovated. We removed and then supplied and fitted a new new kitchen, utility room, new bathroom, new Worcester Boiler, new floor coverings and a repaint throughout. Our clients are overjoyed with the results and we’re very proud of our team
